01 Acceptance

Use the site or turn up to an event and you are agreeing to what follows. If that does not sit right, please do neither.

02 About STUHI

STUHI (StartUpHigh) is a youth-led, non-profit community based in Helsinki, Finland. It is run by Nuorten startup- ja innovaatioyhdistys ry (Business ID 3613004-2), a registered non-profit association whose registered address is Abrahaminkatu 1, 00180 Helsinki, Finland. The association owns and operates this website (stuhi.org) and the stuhi.org domain. We organise events and programmes for high-school students interested in entrepreneurship and innovation, and you can reach us any time at team@stuhi.org .

03 Using the site

Browse it, share it, enjoy it. For personal, non-commercial use. Just don't try to break it, abuse it, or use it to break the law.

04 Events and participation

Some events and programmes have limited places and may need registration in advance, usually through our events platform. Registering doesn't guarantee a place, since we may have to make a selection, and we may reschedule or cancel an event when we need to. Most of what we run is free; if an event ever requires payment, the ticket and refund terms will be made clear at the point of registration. By taking part you agree to follow our code of conduct and any venue rules.

05 Applications and joining

From time to time we open applications: to join the community, to take part in a programme, or to fill a volunteer or open role. Applying does not guarantee acceptance: places and roles are limited, and we choose the people who best fit what we're running at the time. We may ask follow-up questions, and we may pause or close applications whenever we need to. Anything you share in an application is handled as set out in our privacy policy .

06 Code of conduct

Be decent. We want a community that's respectful, safe, and welcoming to everyone, whatever their background. That means no harassment, discrimination, or behaviour that makes others feel unsafe, online or in person. We can ask anyone who puts that at risk to leave an event or the community. Our full code of conduct sets out what we expect in more detail, and our safety page explains how to raise a concern. If something doesn't feel right, tell us at team@stuhi.org .

07 Intellectual property

The STUHI name, logo, and site content are ours unless noted otherwise. Ask first before using them commercially.

08 External services and links

Our site links to and embeds outside services, for example our events calendar on Luma, application and sign-up forms on Google Forms, and our social media pages. We don't control those services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not ours.

09 No warranty and liability

The site is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, STUHI is not liable for losses arising from your use of it, except where we have been grossly negligent or have acted deliberately. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

10 Changes

We may update these terms. Keep using the site afterwards and you accept the new version.

11 Governing law

Finnish law governs these terms, and Finnish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
